Kochkäse mit Brot

Ingredients:

  • 500g Harzer Cheese
  • 100ml Milk
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. Butter
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • A pinch of Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Grate the Harzer cheese and set it aside.
  2. In a saucepan, heat up the milk, chopped onions, minced garlic, butter, paprika, salt and pepper on medium heat.
  3. Once heated, add the grated cheese and stir continuously until it is fully melted.
  4. Take the saucepan off the heat and let it cool down for a few minutes.

How to prepare:

Slice some bread and toast it in a pan. Serve the Kochkäse warm with the bread on the side.
